September 23-26, 2019, the 6th International Conference of Bionic Engineering (ICBE2019), organized by International Society of Bionic Engineering (ISBE), was held in Changchun. Prof. Longjian Xue was invited to the meeting. The students, Qian Li, Quan Liu, Fandong Meng, Baisong Yang and Di Tan, Haiyang Liu, Zhaoyang Guo attended the ICBE2019 as well.

   At the ICBE2019 prof. Longjian Xue was selected as the standing member of youth commission of ISBE. The standing of youth commission of ISBE is composed of 9 members who come from 7 countries and regions including China, USA, Germany, France, Italy, Denmark and Hongkong.

    At the 6th The 6th International Conference of Bionic Engineering (ICBE2019), prof. Longjian Xue was invited as the chairman of chapter meeting of “Bio-inspired fabrication and bio-manufacturing” and gave a keynote talk about “Bioinspired Structured Adhesion”. Ph. D student Di Tan, supervised by prof. Longjian Xue, von the best poster award of ICBE2019. The title of the competition work is “Creeper-inspired Reversible Adhesion on Rough Surface”.
